I Hate Musicals! - The Musical will be screening on RTE on May 21st as part of the Shortscreen programme. The short film is written and directed by Michael Lavelle and produced by Rory Dungan. The film stars Jack L who plays “Joe” who is stuck at the tail end of the chorus line and never gets the girl - it’s not hard to see why Joe hates musicals! But tonight his luck is about to change…

Here’s a selection of stills from our upcoming feature film, “King of the Travellers”. Wrapping on picture edit soon, then moving into ScreenScene and Ardmore Sound with the aim of completing the film in May.
Vico Films is currently producing Alan’s Leonard’s debut feature film “Dark By Noon”. Produced by Vico Films’ Cormac Fox and Ikka Films’ Mike O’Flaherty, the film is written and directed by Alan Leonard. The high-concept thriller will be completed Summer 2012. We will be sure to keep you updated on the film’s progress towards completion.

Filming has just wrapped on Vico Films’ feature film “King of the Travellers” (formerly entitled “Grooskill”). A massive thank you to all cast, crew, funders and supporters of the project. The film is due to be completed in Spring 2012.
Vico Films’ 2007 short film “An Creatur” will screen on TG4 this coming Thursday 25th at 8:30pm.
Uniquely spanning 15 years in as many scenes, “An Créatúr” (“The Helpless Creature”) tells the story of a young boy and a moment which changes his life forever. The film stars Robert Sheehan, Johnny Ward, Lesley Conroy, Brendan McDonald and Kevin O’Dwyer. The film was produced by Cormac Fox and Daniel McCrea and written and directed by Peter Foott.
“An Creatur” was awarded the Audience Award at the Cork Film Festival in 2007 and the Jury Award at the Rimouski Film Festival, Quebec in 2008.
Concept Artwork for Grooskill

Some early concept artwork was recently produced by James Cullen for Mark O’Connor’s upcoming Grooskill. The feature film is currently in pre-production with a planned shoot for September.
